A Normal Cooking Game
DESCRIPTION:
Enjoy this totally normal game where nothing weird happens.
ABOUT:
This is the first game I have fully created and uploaded. It was originally made for the Acerola Jam. The theme was, "Aberration"... Unfortunately, I was unable to submit on time for the jam but I decided to finish and, upload it anyways. I created all of the art assets other than the music, SFXs, and font. This game was created with Unity and FMOD. This game is very short but difficult to beat.
TUTORIAL:
IMPORTANT: During dialogue press space to continue. There are multiple storage slots on the shelves and beside the cutting board.
Complete orders given to you by customers by cooking, cutting, and plating food. In order to complete the task, the food must be placed on a plate and have every ingredient the customer asked for. The plates are located at the serving area. Navigate through the restaurant by clicking the buttons that correspond to different rooms. The buttons are located in the top right. The ingredients do not need to be in the correct order. To cut an item you must do the following: Navigate to the room with the cutting board, place the item on the cutting board, grab a knife from the knife box, while holding the knife click when the blue bar is in-between the white bar. Once you complete the order, you are rewarded with a certain amount of money. After day 1, you will be given a goal value. If you meet this goal, you will not lose. If you exceed this goal, whatever amount of money you made past the goal is added in seconds to the timer for the next day. Good luck!
Tips:
Make sure to use the shelves above the cooking station and cutting station. They act as storage. Always try to exceed the goal to gain as much extra time as possible.
Problems:
Sometimes the browser version of the game doesn't have audio. In order to fix this, refresh the page, click on the page, then click play game. Not sure why it does this. If it still doesn't work, keep refreshing and trying the above steps. Eventually it will probably work... Going fullscreen sometimes works.
